Phonak Audéo Marvel
Phonak are one the largest hearing aid manufacturers in the world. They are based in Switzerland and are part of the Sonova Group, which includes Unitron.
The Phonak Audeo Marvel was originally released in 2018 with an upgrade to Phonak Marvel 2.0 in 2019. If you have a Phonak Marvel bought in 2018 it can be upgraded to 2.0 by your service provider. Phonak do not charge for the upgrade. Phonak have added new models to the Marvel range in 2020.

4 technology levels are available: Marvel M30, Marvel M50, Marvel M70 and the top of the range Marvel M90
Phonak developed a new Bluetooth protocol for Marvel which enables Marvel devices in theory to connect to any Bluetooth device. This means nearly all phones, tablets and PC’s.
Audéo Marvel also allows for true hands-free use of a mobile, keep your phone in your pocket and answer your phone call by pressing a button on the hearing aid.
Phonak Marvel runs on the Sword 3.0 chip which consists of 42 million transistors.
The chip runs the new AutoSense 3.0 software. AutoSense constantly scans the listening environment and fine tunes the audio with up to 200 adjustments for an optimised listening experience.
Improved Binaural VoiceStream allows for real time stereo streaming between the hearing aids allowing for improved speech understanding in challenging listening situations.
The Phonak Marvel Remote app allows users to make multiple adjustments to the hearing aids.
Phonak Marvel allows for remote hearing care. This means you can have face to face appointment with video with an audiologist and the hearing aids can be adjusted remotely via the internet.
Phonak have released a new app called Speech to Text. This app will transcribe so the user can read what is being said in real time.
A number of accessories are available for Audéo Marvel.
Phonak TV Connector – This device allows you to stream directly from your TV/Stereo into your hearing aids.
Phonak PartnerMic – Discreet and easy-to-use remote microphone when you need a little boost in one-to-one conversations
Phonak RemoteControl – A pocket sized remote control that allows you to change volume and programmes.
Roger Direct Compatible – Roger Direct Technology is built in Marvel. This means Marvel hearing aids can communicate directly with Roger’s suite of wireless microphones. Roger Microphones bridge the gap in hearing ability when in background noise present and where there is distance from speaker (more than 2m).
